Can I chime in here, I’m not sure if I should start my own thread about this?
(NUC 7i7 Rock, Ethernet, no switches, all wired, 1700 album library, nearly all Qobuz)
Starting with the September update I have had similar symptoms. Until suddenly at the beginning of the year a blank screen appeared that prompted me to the Database Corruption Help Pages.
Shortly before, I had cleared an extraordinarily long queue that would have run for two and a half days.
After rebooting the NUC and router, the blank screen with the link to the help pages disappeared, but my library, playlists, history and all audio devices were gone; nothing was there anymore.
So I restored a backup and everything worked again.
But what concerns me, I had to go back mor than three months within the backups to get Roon working again. I tried around 10 backups before everything was finally back to normal.
How could that be?
I thought Roon was able to detect database corruption?
There have been no power outages and the Nuc is also on a UPS.
Could this be related to recent updates? I’ve noticed a few reports like this in the community.
Should I open a separate thread for this? After all, everything is working again for me.
