Description of Issue

Ran into problem with Roon running on my Synology NAS so, decided to move it to a Mac mini, but cannot get beyond logging in, it just hangs on the redirecting page?

Hi @Steve_Adams,

Taking a look at basic account diagnostics, there’s a possibility that Roon didn’t fully dissociate from the previously installed RoonServer instance.

Provided you have a recent Backup available, I’d fully refresh RoonServer on both machines before freshly downloading/installing RoonServer on the Mac and restoring.

  • Exit out of RoonServer
  • Navigate to your RoonServer’s Database Location
  • Find the folder that says “RoonServer”
  • Rename the “RoonServer” folder to “RoonServer_old”
  • Reinstall the RoonServer App from our Downloads Page to generate a new RoonServer folder
  • On the Roon Remotes, press “Use another Roon Server” and connect to the new database
