Hi, the music signal path has changed since the software update for the factory Hegel DAC and the external FIIO Warmer DAC Loop… See attached image. [H150FIIOWARMERDACLOOP] [H150DAC]

That is exactly as Hegel designed it, nothing to be done about it and it is what it is. Please contact Hegel if you are unhappy with their design. Thank you for your understanding.

How do you have the audio zone settings? Screenshot so we can see what might be going on? If it is tidal 96/24 I dont think it would downsample to 44.1. What did it do with same 96/24 before the latest update?

I thought it was always known that Hegel doing this happened since the marketing manager came on this site and told the world that their secret sauce was all of their lower end streaming DACS auto upscaled everything to its maximum settings. OK, then this is not a bug but a feature ;-)…it’s just that before version 2.7 this wasn’t visible in the signal path… after all, I don’t use an external R2R tube DAC because it sounds nicer… then I’ll let this problem go. Thanks for the help!
