Issue with Server Update Required for ARC App Connection on Android Galaxy (ref#OBPRF6)

Network Setup

· My only router was provided by my ISP

ARC Status

· ARC is *Ready*

Describe the issue

I run Roon on my Antipodes CX and everything works there, the server says ready for ARC to connect, but ARC app on my Android Galaxy keeps telling me it's time for a server update in order to connect.
This problem has been persisting for some time.

Describe your network setup

ISP provided my Telstra (hybrid modem and router)
All linked via network cables.
My Room server is a Antipodes CX.
The server says it's ready to run ARC, when I start ARC on my Samsung Galaxy S22 it detects the account and tried to connect to the CX, then saying time for an update to your ROON server.
Server is up to date (I guess).
I have not made any changes to the router settings between when it worked and now, no firewalls etc added.

This is suggesting that the Roon version on the CX is older than your Galaxy and needs update.
Go to settings:about and you should see an option to update.
If not please take a screenshot shot of the version of it and your Galaxy phone.

Thanks for looking into this for me!

Yes it appears the Roon version on the phone is newer, but it does not seem to be able to download the update for the CX, see screenshot attached…

You will probably have to use the Antipodes gui to try and make the Roon update.
One trick I have used is to remove Roon from the antipodes and then reinstall it when it gets hung up like this.
