I have had my share of difficulties with Roon backup and I got myself into a bad fix (again) today due to some new complixities introduced on my new NAS (snapshots) and lost not just favourites but also over 50 playlists which had taken ages to compile (see for details Favorites frustration). However, I used Roon’s restore and so far it looks as if it worked really well: my favourites are back and so are my playlists. What a relief.
