Hallo Leute von Roon,
seit der letzen Software-Änderung (Installation Server) habe ich Probleme mit Roon.
Roon-Server läuft auf einen Windows PC (schnell – 1 Jahr alt)
Roon-Fernbedienung auf dem gleichen PC
Musik-Daten sind auf einer NAS (Qnap)
Bis zum Update lief alles super gut!!!
Jetzt:
Musik-Hardware - Linn Klimax exakt DSM über Netzwerkkabel
Adresse des DSM lt. Fritzbox: 192.168.178.68
Einstellung :/System / Subnetz für Linn-Streaming : 127.0.0.0
Das ist ja falsch.
Nach Neustart des PC´s:
Einstellung :/System / Subnetz für Linn-Streaming : 192.168.178.0
Das soll ja richtig sein!!
Das Symbol für den DSM ist mal da - mal nicht.
Wenn das Symbol das ist und man startet Musik an läuft die
nur kurze Zeit -(40 bis 60 Sekunden) dann ist die Verbindung zum DSM unterbrochen.
(zuerst verschwinden die Song -Daten vom Monitor - nach einigen Sekunden
wenn der Speicher leer ist hört die Musik natürlich auf)
Manchmal stehen bei Subnetz für Linn-Streaming auch andere Adressen:
Z,B.10.252.0.117 / 10.252.1.47
Habe auf einen alten Tablet noch Linn-Kazoo - damit geht alles wunderbar-
-keine Abbrüche.

This is wrong.
After restarting the PC:
Setting :/System / Subnet for Linn streaming : 192.168.178.0
That should be correct!
The symbol for the DSM is sometimes there - sometimes not.
If the symbol is there and you start the music, it runs
(40 to 60 seconds) then the connection to the DSM is interrupted.
(first the song data disappears from the monitor - after a few seconds
when the memory is empty the music stops of course)
Sometimes the subnet for Linn streaming also contains other addresses:
E.G.10.252.0.117 / 10.252.1.47
I still have Linn-Kazoo on an old tablet - everything works wonderfully with it.
-No cancellations.

Have you tried rebooting the KDSM? I use a KDS and used to have issues with the old setup I had, but found a reboot of the DS resolved any problems in the short term.

I run Klimax DSMs in two different locations, with Roon server on Linux (Ubuntu Server 22.04.3). I’ve never seen that problem. From your description (with I read via Google Translate since I don’t read German), it looks like the PC with Roon server may be switching its network connection between networks. I’ve seen somewhat similar problems post in the past where a Windows PC has multiple network interfaces active (for example Ethernet and WiFi) which can confuse the Roon server.

I installed Linn-Kazoo on the Windows PC.

I have specified the known subnet there.

Kazoo keeps the connection.

no disconnection !!!

You now have 2 programs!

can it be that in the 2 app the wrong

subnet.

Please ask for info !

Thanks for following up!

Can you please provide more details around your network setup? Roon is more network-demanding than other devices within your local network, so if there’s any room to temporarily simplify and optimize your network to give priority to Roon, this would be a good next step.
