Issues with Roon Server not running

Unfortunately, accepted a roon update today and this error has come up. On the Windows 10 machine running Room Server. Task Manager shows it is running but the Roon client on the same machine or sny other on the network doesn’t seem to think so.

Can i get a refund?

I would try rebooting router and then computer.

Rebooting both didn’t help, as it has in the past. Needed a reinstall of Roon.

If Roon Server is running but no client can see it then obviously something is blocking the communication. Did you try and disabling the firewall (this includes anti-virus products that may provide a firewall service too) on the computer that runs Roon Server?

Sorry to hear you’re having connectivity issues - @BlackJack brings up a good point in terms of the Windows firewall. Here’s more info on what exceptions need to be in place:

It was reaolves by reinstalling the roon server after a reboot of router and aerver didn’t help. Firewall was not an issue.

It was workomg one moment and not the next - between tracks.

But… all good now.
