Two more questions about roon radio stations
I listening to KAN88 each day, and i notced the sound of this station start to be really Thin compere to my other station on the list also compere to listening to this stations via lumin streamer or through the internet site. It sound before ok with full sound but know only this station and only via roon it sound very thin, can you check and advice?
There is aproblem with station called smoothfm (smooth91.5) which cannot be streamed through roon. Please help with that.
The team hasn’t encountered any issues attempting to play the affected radio statio, Smooth Relax DAB+, in Roon.
Have you tried playing both the AAC and mp3 streams? Do you have difficulty playing the stream from the station website?
Concerning sound quality with KAN88, we’ll need to see a screenshot of the Signal Path in Roon to understand what’s going on with the audio chain during playback. Please provide that at your convenience and we can take a closer look. Thank you!

We’re reaching out since we haven’t seen a response on this thread yet. As of this writing, Smooth Relax DAB+ continues to be available in Roon when we attempt to reproduce your report.
We’ll need a little more information to take action here if you’re still having problems. Precisely, please share a screenshot of the Signal Path within Roon when the stream fails, and also whether you encounter the problem with both mp3 and AAC streams.

For the kan88, i still have thin sound via roon compering to streaming this stations via the lumin radio, or internet by the computer nuc. Cand you check this issue again, i know that it sound unreal , but that is the situation..
From your Signal Path, it looks like you’re applying DSP in Roon (Parametric EQ and some headroom adjustment) that you’re likely not applying when you stream this radio station outside of Roon. Try disabling that before making any A/B comparisons. Please also double-check that you’re not comparing a lossy format (mp3/AAC) in Roon with a FLAC stream from another source outside of Roon.
