Description Of Issue
Hi, I have lost the ability to use the shield as an endpoint. when i try to play something on it the screen goes black for a few seconds and then goes back to whatever the previous screen was on the shield.
It used to work for me and I’m not sure when it stopped working. I did sideload the android apk on the shield just to try out a while ago which did also play music when i tired it last but not now.
BTW im not trying to use the app on the shield now just saying it if it is of consequence. I’ve tried to play to the sheild from the core laptop and phone but both are behaving the same. black screen which then goes away.
I’m pretty new to roon so please let me know if there is any other info i can give to help with this issue.
