· I have problems with the tidal integration in roon even after switching to a roon nucleus one as a sever. The first issue is that when I connect with my account the syncing of the tidal library in roon is incomplete. Only a fraction of the albums are importet and then when I go under “services” and “tidal” it shows “syncing library now” indefinetly but nothing happens. Second problem is that I cannot remote tidal tracks or albums from my roon library. When I try it showes me a message saying “files cannot be found”. I tried to remove the track or album from tidal directly but then it stays in roon.
Thanks for reaching out and for the detailed description.
To help us understand what’s causing this behavior, could you please clarify a few key points:
Did you restore a Roon backup onto the Nucleus One (for example from a previous server), or did this issue start on a fresh setup without restoring any backup?
Approximately how large is your TIDAL library (number of albums or tracks)?
Does the sync stop after reaching a certain number, or does it never complete at all?
Have you tried logging out of TIDAL in Roon, restarting the Nucleus One, and then logging back in to TIDAL?
These details will help us determine whether this is a sync state issue, a migration artifact, or a service-side problem.
I initially didn’t restore a backup into the nucleus and just logged in with my tidal account, but then it only synchronized about 100 albums. I tried to log out, reboot the nucleus but didn’t have any effect. Then I restored a backup from my old roon nucleus. I tired the log out and reboot route again with no effect. My tidal library is very big but I cannot see exactly how many tracks and albums. I estimate it is around 1000-2000 albums. The sync never complete at all.
I just followed the steps you posted and the issue is still present as before. This morning without warning also approximately 300 albums from tidal disappeared from my library. Why is that?
