It depends on the phone, I think, it certainly wasn’t fixed on my iPhone 15 Pro Max with 120 Hz (ProMotion) refresh, and it’s an acknowledged issue on these phones. On other phones it might have been improved (I don’t know) or, if it still happens for someone, is a different issue than the 120 Hz one.
