Please, anybody knows how to setup La2x4 live radio from Buenos Aires?
I tried with the stream address https://media.radios.ar:9270/ but it doesn’t work.
Thanks in advance…

Hello @Filippo_De_Maio , the station was in the database as La 2X4 FM 92.7
although the URL was out of date and didn’t work. I’ve updated the URL - try now.
Hi Brian,
thank you for your support.
Still doesn’t work but the message changed, now it says " Playback was interrupted because a track failed to load"
Hmm, works for me.
It’s a .aac stream - can you play other such stations? CJSW
or any BBC station.
What are you running your server on?
Well, I run Radio Latina with no problem, it is an MP3 stream.
It seems AAC not running on my side… same message with BBC radio and others.
I’m running roon on a QNAP 672XT Nas.
Where is your Roon Server running on, a NAS?
Yes, on my nas Qnap. The music database is on an external disk connected to nas.
You need to add codecs - the QNAP NAS doesn’t include aac codecs anymore.
Please look at QNAP – RoonOnNAS where you’ll find instructions to add the necessary file.
I think QNAP doesn’t have codecs for AAC out of the box for licensing reasons. You probably have to install third-party ffmpeg codecs manually.
I read that this is an old problem. So bad that running QTS 5.2.6 and RS 2.54 this problem is still up. My RoonOnNas/bin folder is empty…
Is there a simple way to solve?
The RoonOnNas website says that it’s ongoing, and the fact that you can’t play AAC seems like a hint that this is true.
See the RON website for QNAP, scroll down for explanation and solution
I copied JohnVanSickle – ffmpeg static builds in RoonOnNas/bin folder but it’s not enough … maybe I need to do more
Did you apply the executable permission on the file? (I assume you downloaded the correct version, unpacked it correctly, and restarted the server).
On the QNAP NAS. Log into the NAS, open the QNAP file manager, navigate to the RoonOnNAS/bin folder, right-click the ffmpeg file and go to Properties, Permissions or similar, enable „execute“
It Works!!!
Many thanks to all, thank you @Suedkiez
Enjoy the radio
