Describe the issue

Roon nucleus server running on the network. When I start the Roon app on my laptop it says it can not find a Roon server. There are no firewall issues, all restarts have been performed. Is there any way I can log directly into the server by connecting my pc directly to it via the cat 5 cable or usb? Nothing has changed in the network. However, we did lose power for a couple hours which could have caused some issue.

Hey @fran1,

Thanks for writing in, and welcome to the Roon community! We’re happy to have you here, but apologize that it’s an issue that’s prompted your recent post.

A bit of good news, we see that your Nucleus is online and active with our servers, so the chances of it being a hardware-related issue are much lower!

We were able to enable diagnostics on your Nucleus, and didn’t see any obvious errors, which is another good sign!

Could you temporarily bypass the switch, and get a direct connection from your Nucleus to your primary router, and see if you’re able to connect?

On that note, if you review your router settings > devices list, do you see your Nucleus available?

We’ll be monitoring for your reply!
