Before Lenbrook, NAD was a highly reliable company. Not any more. I wish to write the following warning to anyone considering purchasing a NAD and /or Bluesound device. I have major issues with NAD and Bluesound. I have now owned two NAD M10 devices, after a while, the first refused to boot after a BLUOS update. I was lucky then as NAD decided to send me a replacement which turned out to be a version 2. However, that machine has now failed an update too. I had a conversation with NAD who haven’t helped at all this time. They did offer a “pay the difference” upgrade to the version 3 but when I accepted that they said that they had no inventory and couldn’t do it after all. They recommend a service center but admit that ALL service centers are backlogged by 4 to 6 weeks at this time. A rather telling situation in regard to product quality. I did contact my nearest NYC service center and a person who self described as the “front desk guy” informed me that the tech guy was out sick and also that I would most probably need a new motherboard as in his experience that was most often the problem given my issue description. He said I should think about it and call back in two weeks. NAD support says the same thing about needing a main board replacement so who knows how long this will take and just how damn expensive it will end up being. Bluesound will simply only refer a NAD owner to contact NAD and had no other advice at all. A search on the internet reveals I am not alone in my issues with NAD as I discovered a great many people with similar complaints. I believe that NAD’s reputation is shot through due to their relationship with Bluesound. I say that these two companies are absolutely not ready to provide a reliable solution to their customers and I would recommend everyone to stay well away from their products.

Different experience: I have m10 v1 since 2019 and a powernode 2 even longer. Connected using ethernet, working flawless with Roon
