Last year, I got in a bit of trouble with the maternal unit.
Aunt: Why are you wearing those things in your ears?
Me: Listening to music, auntie.
Aunt: But you can’t hear anybody talking!!
Me: And yet here you are, talking to me. Funny, no?
Apparently I was embarrassingly rude. Not a good idea when said matron is an 80+ year olde stereotypical redhead.

I do love a bit of Therion and played Leviathan to death yesterday as part of my speaker testing so today I will move onto to Leviathan II and allow it to fill the room

I remember going to my dealer to just get a new stylus for my Goldring 1040 and have a coffee and waste a few hours listening to stuff I had no intention buying and chatting to him. Fun none the less. Can’t replace the stylus on my Concept it’s a whole new cartridge. Due for a replacement probably as it’s getting on a bit but usage is far less than back then. I never thought of the replacement costs when I bought this TT with MC 2nd hand. Perhaps back to MM for me to save on cash. Still have my Goldring in my drawer but fitting and aligning will be a mare on this deck. I have to go to Essex for the nearest ClearAudio dealer so that’s a whole day out for a cartridge change, expense of petrol and £800 on the cartridge. But they have some very nice kit to look at.

Then that becomes a future temptation 
What did you get, I currently have 1st Gen Orbi and it is still crazy good. But soon I will be on the lookout for replacement 
I am also thinking of looking at doing a couple of short fiber runs, not for any other reason than I have run miles of it in work and fiber is Cool and isolated from electrical interference. I would not expect music to sound better, but be able to hold its network head up and look straight ahead should it ever cross paths with @Peter_Bruderer network in public
