So true. Do you know what species? Mine (my wife‘s) one is a common Greek one. Maybe 30 cm long. If she wants something she moves everything beside. Not possible she does not know.

We had a tortoise when I was very little. In a foretaste of things to come; Fred lived in an old wind up gramaphone case.
He used to climb his chicken wire enclosure and head, slowly, for freedom.
