I’ve not heard Dance Till All the Stars Come Down (2023). For those unaware, The Lilac Time is led by founding member of Duran Duran - Stephen Duffy. This was their first album.
This fascinating debut is certainly a minimasterpiece, and it’s the first step in a remarkable career that would bear additional masterpieces over multiple decades to follow. (allmusic)

Took me a few years to get round to buying Londons Goat Girl but my quest to not rely on Qobuz continues so no I have them. Not for everyone their blend of off kilter post punk/country with a bit of Polly Harvey and a touch of Goth thrown in isn’t everyone’s cup of tea and certainly isn’t Christmas music.
My daughter did the veg prep for me after I’d gone to bed last night. I always do the cooking tomorrow. This year, there are no vegans, so I’m doing a joint of beef as well.
