ARC doesn't show all Albums by an Artist in Artist view in CarPlay (iOS 26.0.1). The missing Albums are accessible in Album View in CarPlay so they are not generally missing, they are just not listed in Artist view.
Most likely reason: the "Albums in my library"-list in Artist view is limited to 5 entries and not expandable to show a list of more than 5 Albums.
Note: When using ARC directly on the phone (iPhone 15, iOS 26.0.1) the Album list is expandable in Artist view by pressing the "more" button and shows all Albums as it should be.
At the moment, this behavior is a product limitation — in CarPlay, the Artist view only shows a limited number of albums and doesn’t yet support expanding the full list.

you’re answer is quite disappointing in many ways.
The link you provided points to a completely different feature request regarding filtering Albums in the Album view by profile / favorites. This has nothing to do with the issue at hand here.
Also I’m not requesting a new feature, I’m pointing out a bug in an existing feature.
I don’t think any discussion is needed to elaborate the necessity of accessing all Albums by an Artist in Artist view. I would call this an essential function, not a “nice to have” feature.
Also I’m hard pressed to believe this is a CarPlay limitation.
There are expandable lists available on the ARC home screen in CarPlay for “recently played”, “recently added” and “listen later”. Those show a horizontal line of Album covers (most likely the top list entries) and by pressing the “>” arrow next to the list title you open another screen with a full vertical list of all list entries.
Why don’t you use this control for the Album list in Artist view instead? This would make a lot of sense.
OK, I misunterstood this. However the link provided by @vadim is still not relevant to the issue at hand. The only takeaway from this link is that lists in CarPlay seem to limited to around 1.300 entries (1/3 of 4.000). This should be more than sufficient to list all Albums by an Artist.
When driving alone, I usually ask Siri to play a certain Album or song. This gives mixed results, but that’s another topic and certainly not an ARC issue .
When driving with my family, my wife or kids often select music manually from the Infotainment screen. Also when stuck in traffic I don’t see any safety issues with accessing the Infotainment Screen manually. My Car also tends to issue a warning, when it thinks, that the driver ist being distracted from driving.
I agree, however “reduced function” in my eyes isn’t the same as “limited function”. A reduced GUI means that certain functionalities are left out completely, because they are considered being too distracting while driving. It doesn’t mean that functions that have been implemented should be incomplete.
