Hi @Jan_Terje_Hansen
Thanks for reaching out to us, we appreciate it! We have a ticket open for this issue and will be investigating further. You have our apologies for the trouble.
No need to escalate folks – we’re investigating.
If you’re seeing this, please let us know which artist you’re having this issue with, exactly what you’re seeing on Overview vs Discography, and whether you use a streaming service.
Thanks all!
And linked to the most recent response from Roon re: the non persistent scrolling position:
Apologies for the continued trouble here, everyone. I’ve passed these reports along to our team for further investigation. We appreciate everyone reaching out with this feedback and we’ll be sure to follow up here when we have more information.

The loss of the “hide album” feature with the launch of 1.8 has been fixed with the March 21 update. Thanks

Already removed from the listing, but thank you for the secondary confirmation.

One to add to the list of recognized bugs:
Guys, / @support this should’nt really be so hard to fix. I even provided you some code / logic before for this:
Again, it should take no more then a handful of lines of code to fix this:
If Tag = „Composer“, THEN >>> Composer!
If Tag = „Text“ OR „Poetry“ OR „Lyrics“ OR „Libretto“ THEN >>> NOT Composer !!
I still get Librettists listed as Top Composers for Opera. Could you please finally get this fixed once and for all.
Thank you

And another one, addressing the malfunctioning „Only complete recordings“ setting and missing counters for single albums in a library.
Thanks for the feedback, @bbrip — I’ve passed this along to our QA team for further investigation.

Thanks, @jtnt ---- I’ve passed this along to the team to investigate further.
It seems from a recent post, Roon are regarding the back button appearing outside of the menu as a bug:
We are still working on this – it’s not being ignored but it wasn’t ready on the same timescale as a number of other fixes we didn’t want to hold up (like the ZFS storage fix).
The issue here was that a long translation string was pushing the back button off the screen. In other words, this was a bug fix not a design change.
@SimplicityCompass Just wondering: are you a human, or an A.I.-entity trained on diplomacy and friendliness? Anyhow, great job you are doing. Thx!

I think this topic belongs here: the description of compositions has disappeared on mobile devices (at least iOS) since v. 1.8.
See this thread: Blurb about compositions not visible in 1.8 - #5 by Bped
Thanks for pinning to this thread if appropriate so that it can be addressed

This one took a while but has now finally been recognized as an issue.
Hi everyone ,
I wish we would have seen and replied sooner to this thread - I’m sorry you are all affected by it. I’ve notified our team about this and we’re looking into it.
Please, bear with us while we get back to you with updates

Hi @Bped ,
I’m seeing details on the compositions from the ‘info’ tab (iOS iPhone), I see this on your example from the topic:
I would suggest posting again on your topic if it is still an issue for you, and I’ll keep an eye on any further response from Roon. I’m not saying it isn’t an issue for you, just that I haven’t seen any other feedback that it wasn’t resolved (apart from one like by @bbrip on your last post in that topic).
Thanks.
PS @bbrip in @Bped ’s topic above, could you confirm if the issue also hasn’t been resolved for you?
@bbrip
Thank you.

I’m going to leave that one off the list, as it is pre-1,8, but as I like saying, your post serves the purpose of giving it visibility.
I’ve made a few exceptions of course, but I want to keep the list as managable as possible.
Thanks.

Fair enough. It just feels safer on your list. I dont trust Roon‘s bug-tracking system. Too many things fall thru the cracks or get prematurely closed.

Not sure I agree with you about my list holding Roon to account, but thanks for the kind comment.
Of course I’ll keep an eye out for any response from Roon on that topic.

I got a response from Dylan about the topics that was closed:
Topics in #support are set to automatically close to keep only “active” tickets open. Unfortunately our team has been a bit behind on responses post 1.8 release, so there are some tickets we haven’t been able to resolve that are closing in error.
We’ve removed this functionality from the forums, but it only applies to posts going forward . Any topics that were closed in error will be reopened — We are not treating them as closed and will get to them ASAP.
Apologies for the trouble.
