· Samsung Galaxy S25, Android, Roon 2.71 build 1683. Local Android Zone suddenly disappeared. Roon Remote continues to connect normally and can control all other zones. Samsung audio works normally with YouTube Music. The phone is completely absent from Roon → Settings → Audio. Clearing cache, force stopping, rebooting, and completely uninstalling/reinstalling Roon did not restore the Local Zone.

Mobile device zones are usually private and are not visible from other Roon apps.

If you see the :eye: icon next to the zone name on your Galaxy, you need to remove the Private zone setting.

Press the :speaker_low_volume: icon, and the click on the :gear: icon followed by :gear: Device Setup. Change Private zone to No and Save.

Hi @pietpallapam,

Thank you for your post.

The first step is to double-check the Private Zone setting as suggested in the post above.

Please let us know if this helps and we’ll proceed from there with next steps, if not.

Hi @pietpallapam,

We haven’t seen a response and this thread will eventually autoclose without any new activity.

Did disabling the Private Zone setting for this Zone resolve the problem?

If not, let us know the most recent symptom and we’ll gather logs to inspect further. Thank you!
