Yes, that’s it for me…I now made some dummy playlists to be ahead of in the future needed playlist and then erased my profile like described. Yes, I loose all the history of course but I wanted my playlists ![]()
This bug is hindering my use on an AI agent to play playlists. Somehow the agent got on the wrong profile and there is not switching from the API side that i can tell.
1 year and 5 months and counting and nothing from the Roon team. Seems the issue is PROFILES are not fully baked into the software. I have countless issues with extensions arbitrarily grabbing a profile id when communicating with roon - usually the first alphabetically.
maybe in another 5 years they will fix this fuster-cluck!
@connor, @daniel , any update on this? This is preventing me from playing playlists ia the homeassistant integration (and any other API). It really is a pity that the API is left without support.
PS: If you have playlists around from before the change of having playlists bound/unbound to profile, you can abuse those. I had some old local playlists that show up. I copied one of them. The new copy does not show up in the API. However you can now rename the original playlist.
