Thank you for the report.
We have sent a diagnostics request to your phone, but it can only be picked up while Roon is actually running. Nothing reaches us while the app is closed or suspended in the background.
Please open Roon on the S26 and leave it open and in the foreground for a few minutes, then let us know here once you have done that. We will check whether the diagnostics have arrived and take it from there.

@vadim : Short update from my side. The client was running for hours. At some point I closed the app. After restarting the client right now the local zone is now available and it’s working fine. Just as an additional information: I restarted my roon core about an hour ago.

Thanks for your patience while we dug into the diagnostics, and glad to hear the zone is back.
On August 30 your S26’s RAAT service briefly stopped responding while the app was in the background, and when it came back it landed on a different port than the one it had been using. Your Roon Server got confused by that switch and stored an invalid address for the phone. From that moment on, the server had a broken record for your S26 that it never retried and never cleared, so even though your phone kept announcing itself perfectly well every time you opened the app (we can see it doing exactly that on the 3rd, 4th and 7th), the server quietly ignored it. Everything else about the phone kept working, which is why only the local zone went missing while the rest of the app behaved normally.
Because that bad record lived only in the server’s memory, restarting Roon Server was exactly the right fix, and a complete one. We’ve written this up for our development team so the server recovers on its own instead of needing a restart.
Two things worth doing while you’re here:
Battery settings on the S26. The trigger was Android suspending the Roon app while its audio service stayed half-alive. Under Settings → Apps → Roon → Battery, setting Roon to Unrestricted makes that much less likely to happen again.
If the local zone ever disappears again, please post here right away and grab a fresh set of server logs, we know the exact signature to look for now.
