Login loop issue when signing into Roon (ref#FUFYV3)

When I login it takes me to the browser window where I am already logged in and I am prompted to click "sign in" at which point I am taken back to Roon where I am prompted to sign in again- it takes me in a loop.

Thank you for the details. To resolve the login loop, please follow these steps:

  1. Open Your Account in your browser.
  2. Log out of your Roon account.
  3. Clear cache and cookies for this page:

Google Chrome (Windows / Mac):

  • Open Chrome.
  • Go to the page Your Account.
  • Click the Settings icon

    in the address bar.
  • Select Site settings.
  • Find Clear data → click it.
  • Reload the page.

Safari (Mac):

  • Open Safari.
  • Go to the page Your Account.
  • In the top menu, click Safari > Settings (or Preferences).
  • Go to Privacy → click Manage Website Data…
  • In the search box, type roon.app.
  • Select it and click Remove.
  • Reload the page.

Microsoft Edge:

  • Go to Your Account.
  • Click the lock icon in the address bar.
  • Choose Cookies and site permissionsManage cookies and site data.
  • Click Clear data.
  1. Once cache and cookies are cleared, sign in again on Your Account.
  2. Re-open the Roon app and try to log in.

Hi @jason1,

Our diagnostic servers show an active session from your RoonServer since you last posted here. Are we correct in assuming that clearing the cache/cookies resolved the login issue?

Adblockers and other content blockers can similarly intercept the redirect back to Roon from a browser. If you’re still having trouble, try the following:

  1. Disable content blockers in your default browser temporarily

  2. If you have any consumer VPNs, try disabling them to ensure no geoIP restrictions are in place
