I have a smsl su10 and a mcintosh mha200, which I’m looking for a good quality pair of Planar Headphones to be powered by this. I would like to use the balanced input on the mha200. But there are so many options it’s overwhelming. Any suggestions?
Here are a few suggestions:
Any planar from HiFiMan or Dan Clark Audio or ZMF, each of these bands will have many planar models available at various price points.
All of these brands are very well respected since just about all their models have great build quality and sound fantastic.
Plus this one, which is a less expensive yet excellent model: FiiO FT1Pro

I have hi fi man Arya Stealth they are great
Hi fi man has a habit of price drops on old models when a new model comes along

My Dan Clark Audio headphones (Drop + DCA Aeon Closed X) have been great. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. 
LCD-X 2021 edition. Be warned though, they’re heavy, you’d need a thick neck to wear them. 
Sound signature a bit heavy bass, but a little EQ to make them to your taste. Pretty low impedance so it can driven pretty anything.
I got Dan Clark Aeon Noire (the original version) and Meze Liric (also the first version). Both sound great with my 1 watt tube headphone amp
I’m considering upgrading the Aeon Noire to the Dan Clark E3 (but money)
You might want to consider getting the updated Noire: NOIRE X
The Noire X is about half the price of the E3 and Dan Clark believes it the best bang for buck of all his headphones. It is at least worth a listen before getting the more expensive E3. I should note that I spoke with Mr. Clark at the recent CanJamNYC and he is very proud of the two new Noires - the closed back X and the open back XO

Are you looking for closed back or open back headphones? I’m in the closed back camp with Dan Clark Audio Stealth and Audeze LCD-XC cans. Definitely try them out before buying. Good luck.
