Can you see the disk through windows explorer when roon can’t see it?
Try a different USB port, especially one at the back of the PC, not front.

It’s great to see you in the community again! I’m sorry to hear you’re running into issues with Roon seeing your external HD. Since a few days have passed, I wanted to check in on this thread to see if you were still experiencing this issue?
Both @ged_hickman1 and @wklie are steering you in the right direction with the next steps. Outside of this, has anything changed in your setup recently? Or, did your windows core have any auto-updates?
