Lost Ability to Control Volume from DAC [Resolved]

So, my setup has been pretty stable for some time. I’m using a SonicOrbiter Linux box with Roon core installed connected to an UltraRendu as the digital front end. This feeds my Nagra HD DAC which has a remote volume control. As of one of the latest Roon updates (I’m not sure which one) I can no longer control the volume with my Nagra DAC. Roon shows the volume as fixed but doesn’t allow me to configure an external device to control it like it used to.

Any ideas?

Turns out the volume control issue was with the DAC itself. We recently had a power outage and the output switched from variable to fixed.
