Description of Issue

The computer did some upgrades and the next day I went to use it and a lot of my apps disappeared and slowly over that day they started to come back but not all.
Roon was completely gone. Today I tried to sign i and all I could get to after sign in was to a page about my account and I could not leave that page. They were asking me to apply for a free period of time even though they acknowledged I had an account. They said my core was not there anymore and to download the program that i did but it would not load any program or music. I cannot load the program correctly, can’t get past account page on sign in and none of my music is available.
Not happy with all this $150.00 a year and i have had numerous problems over the time I have been signed up with your company!

@Michael_Irving, it would be really helpful if you shared a screenshot of what you see. Thanks.

Hello Mr. Webster
My music slowly came back over 3 days. Now the only issue is I cannot connect to my Roon Core remotely.

Any help or advice would be appreciated.
Mike Irving

@Michael_Irving, glad your library is back. Regarding your ARC connection and error message, the diagnostics you’ve provided suggest that UPnP is not properly configured on your router.

Please first try the following steps:

  • Try to enable UPnP/NATPMP in the web administration interface for the router directly upstream from your Core
  • Try to manually open the port in your router’s port forwarding configuration
  • Make sure the IP/Port matches the Port listed in Roon → Settings → ARC
  • Check for any VPNs or Firewalls that might be interfering
  • Check if your modem is in Bridge mode

If you continue to experience difficulties, please tag the support team and include the following information:

  1. What is the make and model of your modem and router?
  2. Do you have any additional network hardware, like additional routers or managed switches?
  3. Who is your internet service provider and what is your geographic region?
  4. Is your Modem configured in Bridge Mode so that it operates only as a modem or do you have the ports forwarded on both?

I am confused. The screenshots show the control app is connected to the Core, and it shows the ARC setup error message

@Michael_Irving, I combined your two threads into your original thread. Please do not open similar topics as it will dlute Roon and the Community’s ability to assist you.

Thank you, everything is working again. Only took 3 days to get all my music back and get the core to respond to my phone etc.
Thanks again
Mike Irving
