LS50 Meta + KC62 vs …?

The KEF LS50 Meta are on sale at my local shop for a nice discount … would be paired with my current Cambridge CXA81 integrated.

What is the bass actually like? Wise to pair with a sub? Eg KC62?

Would be in a medium sized living room. I don’t mind tinkering with the sub to dial in level and crossover. Would be using dsp in any case to use convolution filters with Roon.

In a medium sized room and placed close to the wall, I find they produce a fair amount of bass which could be more than enough for some.

I have my LS50 Meta’s paired with one single REL T7i and it makes them sound so so much bigger. Turned them into a completely different animal.
