Lumin app does not see internal drive inside Intel NUC running ROCK

Hello. I have installed a SSD inside my nuc running Roon Rock and that part went great. Roon is seing my playlists, but when i open the Lumin app i can not see my own library.

Roon is not a DLNA Server and in Rock you can’t install other Software.
But: For what are you using the lumin app?

ROCK does not support UPnP, therefore Lumin app will not see it.

Solution:

  • Backup your database
  • Install Windows
  • Install Roon on Windows
  • Install MinimServer on Windows

Peter. It’s okay i stay with Roon Rock because i dont want Windows on my Nuc. I am more an Apple minded person. One question – Yesterday i saw a new firmware within Lumin 13.4a. May i ask what the changes are.

You don’t need to install a Windows on your NUC.
For example an Ubuntu Server with Roon Core and a DLNA-Server (I’ll preferr Asset against Minim) is a much better solution than a Windows which needs always system updates.
