Description Of Issue

My music is stored in \wkhome\music (driveletter M)

The m3u-file is in \wkhome\music

The content of the m3u_file:
…/Adele/21 - 01-Rolling In The Deep.mp3

I tried also:
/Adele/21 - 01-Rolling In The Deep.mp3

Roon doesn’t create a playlist!
Why?

Wolfgang

In addition: here are my settings

Hello @Wokan,

Welcome to the forum! Can you please share the .m3u with me via Dropbox / Google Drive? I’d like to take a look at it.

Are you using direct path to reference the files? As in does the .M3U specify the M: location as the file path or are they referenced through dynamic means?

Hello,

M is only the driveletter on my windows-PC for \wkhome\music.
The roon-database is in \wkhome\mudb.

Here are the tries of my m3u playlists:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1RZcAKONaU3ED7L_4YzyttDndTbPfsBxv?usp=sharing
tries of m3u-playlists
All are stored in wkhome\music.

By the way: all my songs were recognized by roon. TOP!! Only the playlists don’t :frowning:

Hi @Wokan,

These playlist files don’t look valid to me, I’m not seeing any headers which are typically on the M3U’s I’ve see. How are you creating the playlist? Can you use an app like VLC or an app on the QNAP to create the playlist file and then import it into Roon?

Hi @noris,

I create the playlst vlc1.m3u with vlc. Upload is on
m3u

No success.
I think, it’s a problem with qnap roon-core.
Is there a programmer who can look at that?

Hi @noris,

Sorry for the inconveniences. I had the solution.

Adele/21 - 01-Rolling In The Deep.mp3 (without the / at the beginning)
