m4p format not being found in Roon

I just downloaded an album that I purchased ages ago on itunes and it is not being found by Roon.
Roon finds other music in the same folder.
Can Roon not access .m4p files?

Isn’t MP4 a video file?

m4p is a protected music format.

Yeah, M4P is protected and not supported in Roon right now. You’ll need to convert that file to one of our supported formats.
