Description of Issue
This is similar to an issue a number of Roon customers had when storing their music on an external hard drive and running MacOS Catalina. I believe it was resolved by a Roon fix.
When I select Settings>Storage, click Add Folder, and then select an external hard drive to which I’ve copied my Music library, I receive the message “Error Loading Folder. Unauthorized.”
I’ve given “everyone” read/write access to the hard drive and the Music and iTunes folders.
I’m sure there’s something I’m missing in either the Mac or Roon setup.
I have close to a 1TB library of music, and would like to move it to an external drive, so that I can upgrade to the new 500GB Mac Mini, rather than fork out much more for the 2TB model.
