I’m a bit familiar with your setup, If I’m not mistaken you mount your shares on the OS level and after that add them as local watched folders in Roon. I recommend you to try mount network shares directly in Roon. Here is how you can do that:
1. Make sure you have a backup of Roon’s DB, if you don’t - do it!!!
2. Add network shares mounted on the OS level as a network shares in Roon
3. Change file path of the current watched folders to the ones you have in recently added network shares.
Since Roon makes a ‘fingerprint’ of each media file in its database, your edits will stay intact.
