Mac OS, Yamaha and Roon

I have the latest Roon build.
I purchased a Yamaha A-S801 integrated amplifier and plan to use it’s built in DAC with a Mac Mini running Big Sur 11.2.1 OS. Will this be compatible with both the Mac and Roon? Yamaha built in DAC would like to install Yamaha Steinberg USB driver supporting OS X 10.6/10.7x/10.8x/10.9x.
