MacOS 14 All Endpoints Missing Except System Output After Last Roon Update

MAC OS !4.4.1, iOS 17.4.1
roon update coinciding with OS updates removed all endpoints but for “system output”. All usual fix methods ineffective.

@Richard_Hernandez1, I created a new support topic as your post was not relevant to thread in which you posted. Please complete the template below so Roon support staff can provide guidance:

Roon Server Machine

Include your operating system and machine info (Model, CPU, RAM)

Networking Gear & Setup Details

Your network gear (model of routers/switches) and if on WiFi/Ethernet

Connected Audio Devices

Specify what devices you’re using and their connection types, like USB/HDMI/Chromecast, etc.

Number of Tracks in Library

Tell us how large your music library is, eg. “30,000 tracks”

Description of Issue

Tell us about the problem you’re having in as much detail as possible. Screenshots are always appreciated!

Hi @Richard_Hernandez1,

Thank you for your post. Are the missing devices all networked? Diagnostics indicate that your Roon Server has logged multiple local IP addresses - I’d first verify that Roon Server and any networked endpoints are on the same network and subnet.

If System Output is visible, then RAATServer is still registering local devices. We can check other protocols one at a time. Do Airplay devices appear in Roon → Settings → Audio if you turn on those endpoints?

If you have any VPNs on your Roon Server machine, try disabling them for now to restrict the machine to a single network interface. Turning off WiFi to leave only an ethernet connection on a Mac Roon Server provides ideal troubleshooting conditions.
