Marantz M-CR612 : ROON Audio Zone connected but no Sound possible

Hi ,
Marantz M-CR612 is connected (“ROON tested”) via Airplay 192.168.178.74 … but
it is not possible to play music (nothing playing…), grey play icons.
Same situation with iMac Sonoma 14.1, Macbook and iPad OS 17.1.

All other ROON devices are applicable, can be addressed and play fine.
M-CR612 is connectable via Airplay 2 (iMac, Macbook and iPad).

@reinhard_loessner, some AirPlay 2 implementations do not allow backward compatibility with AirPlay 1. Roon, through their own code, supports only AirPlay 1-compatible systems. For example, Roon cannot play to my LG TV with AirPlay 2, but can play to my Apple TV connected to it.

Marantz may not have AirPlay 1 available in the '612. Your MacOS and iOS devices can play to it because they have AirPlay 2 (and AirPlay 1) built into the OS.

thanks, i have no idea how to install ist on may iMac…
can anybody help me ?

Roon plays AirPlay on my M-CR612 as well. Have you tried rebooting your router?
