McAfee firewall caused Roon to stop intermittantly

I believe I found the problem. Within Mcafee LifeSafe under Firewall/My Network Connections, My Netgear Wi-Fi router was set to Public instead of Private/Home network. All devices connected to a private home network are excluded from the firewall rules. Once changed to “Home”, everything started to work properly. I have no idea how it could have changed or why the previous version of Roon was not hindered by this. Thanks Anthony

I would look for any way to exclude Roon from the firewall and if it is still not working properly due to the firewall blocking Roon, I would reach out to McAfee support regarding advice for how to best configure the firewall to properly allow Roon traffic to pass.
