Description of Issue

A few hours after restarting the core, it uses almost all the ram and a high cpu and cpu time. I have to stop the service and restart it or restart the nas

Is the NAS software using mono instead of .NET like all the other core hardware?

The CPU in this NAS doesn’t meet the minimum requirement for running Roon server, which probably accounts for the high CPU usage.

Moreover, Linux is designed to use all available memory, so this shouldn’t be an issue.

I’ve been using this NAS for several months and never had a memory or cpu issue. Before I had DS 718+ and it worked very well

It’s a thing… You will several people having the same issue in the forum.
No closer to finding the cause :frowning:

it’s the last release build 1259 and i don’t use Airplay, but i think my issue comes from a plugin that i tested “UPnPBridge-2.1.15” and did not uninstall. I removed it. I will tell you after if it’s better or not. If not i will follow your procedure

Thanks a lot

I confirm that it is this plugin which simulates a squeezbox which is the cause of my problem
