My computer has Asus Z170M Plus board, i7 6700 CPU, 3.4 GHz, 16 GB DDR4 RAM, Windows 7 Professional 64 bit, Samsung 950 Pro M.2 256 GB SSD. The computer is connected, Dell Power Connect 2816, unmanaged mode, to Synology 1815+ NAS. The DAC is a Merging Technologies HAPI with a DA8P Premium D/A card, is connected directly with the PC via dedicated Ethernet card with HAPI in the Auto IP address mode. The Merging Raveena ASIO Driver is installed.
My audio system is 5.1 and typically listen to DSD files ripped from SACDs or downloaded files.
The Roon setup menu allows only for 2 channels. The Maximum sample rate available is 192. No sound with playing music.
Does Roon 1.3 have a patch to make it compatible with the Merging Technologies HAPI/Windows 7 64-bit?
If not, will this problem be solved when the HAPI is compatible with Windows 10?
