Describe the issue

As of MacOS 15.5 update, Meridian Prime does not appear as an endpoint.

Describe your network setup

All relevant devices are on a single router. In ten years of using roon, I have never run into a network issue.

Please read this pinned thread:

Did you try those steps and they didn’t resolve your issue?

To add a bit more detail, my roon setup has been performing near perfectly for the past ten years, but immediately upon updating my Mac to MacOS 15.5, roon on the Mac does not see the Meridian Prime, which is connected to the Mac via USB, as a roon endpoint.

All other endpoints see the roon server, so I’m assuming it is not a server issue.

FYI - I have tried toggling System Settings > Privacy & Security > Local Network > roon setting and then rebooting (as per Carl), but the issue remains.

BlackJack, Thanks for the reference. I had tried that prior to submitting the support ticket.

Hello @Akimo,

Thank you for reaching out to Roon Support.

Please try restarting the Roon Server from the macOS taskbar by following these steps:

  1. Locate the Roon icon in the macOS taskbar (top-right corner of the screen).
  2. Click on the icon to open the Roon Server menu.
  3. Choose “Quit” or “Restart” from the dropdown menu.
  4. Wait a few seconds, then relaunch Roon Server from the Applications folder or Launchpad.

After restarting, please check if the issue persists and let us know the result.

If you encounter any issues during this process, feel free to share more details — we’re here to help

@vadim,

Thanks for the troubleshooting steps.

I think I may have discovered the problem. The Prime routes its USB through an external power supply box.

When I bypass it, and connect USB directly to the Prime, the issue goes away. Looks like it’s a HW problem.
