Description of Issue

Roon cannot connect to Roon servers to update metadata so all albums covers are not appearing.
Reinstalled core server.
Updated all to new Roon version reinstalled Roon server nothing helps.
Tried every single way, simply does not works.

Can you supply more details of your system, Nas details, network manufacturer etc.
What troubleshooting steps have you taken already.

Hi

Roon Core and library are NAS connected on internet provider router high speed connection
Amplifier: Accuphase
Dac DCS Bartok connected to amplifier
TT: Linn Majik
speakers : Wilson watts puppy 7
CD player Esoteric
Cables : Transparent
All wireless connection
Updated Roon
Rebooted everything
Make sure all on same network

Hi @Rene_Elhadad ,

What is the model/manufacturer of the NAS? If you temporarily try to host the Roon Core on a regular PC, do you also notice an issue there or is it localized to the NAS? To switch Roon cores, please see below:

  • Create a Backup of your current database
  • Open Roon on the other PC you wish to try as the Core
  • Roon Settings → General
  • Disconnect
  • On the “Choose your Core” screen, press “Use this PC”
  • If asked to Unauthorize, you can go ahead and do so. You are limited to one active Roon Core at a time but you are free to switch between them as often as you’d like.
  • Verify if the same behavior occurs on the different PC
