I am not at all sure if you like that or not but no harm trying.
Good to know you still like to listen Kauan, what is currently your favourite Kauan album?

Well I have tried both bands mentioned and I like the music but the singing less so, so it will be an interesting test.
As for Kauan I listen to all the albums and like all of them (including the instrumental versions) but I would say top 3 are Sorni Nai, Ice Fleet and Kaiho
According to Last.fm Ice Fleet is my 5th most listened to album this year and Kauan are my most listened to band (with Tool at 3, Dream Theatre 7 and Empyrium 8, Myrkur 9 and Wheel in 10). I owe at least 4 of them to you’re recommendations
Excellent, nice selection of most played artists!
For me Sorni Nai has been best but maybe because that was the first one I listened.
I was reading up on the story behind Sorni Nai and some of their other albums and they are very cool stories.
But I find all of their albums very good and my son came down as I was listening to Kaiho after midnight last night and he was enjoying it with me, even though he doesn’t like Metal (olso been playing him STS)
Listening to this now and also been enjoying a lot the last couple of months
That Рожь album has been on my list that need to be listened, so good reminder of that and I will listen it soon!
Hoping you enjoy it as much as I have
If I remember correctly Altars Of Grief has not been discussed here before. Beautiful, sad, emotional doom/death from Canada with clean and death metal vocals.
There are some similarities to Finnish death/doom bands like Swallow the Sun that has been mentioned here many times.
Thanks Jukka
Sounds right up my street and added to a queue which is currently playing the Megadeth Unplugged and Necronautical after that, just never enough time to listen, so I might have to sneak that closer to the top
Excellent listen and just bought on Bandcamp thanks
This was… not good I mean, we all know that Megadave attended the Billy Corgan School For Children Who Will Never Sing Good, but the songs just really don’t translate that well.
And the ‘speech’ at the beginning of Symphony was utterly cringeworthy.
Ok I’m a fan and just finishing my second listen
You just must love this complete creation from the kings of Gothic Metal.
Oh man, the mix of the new Iron Maiden track is disappointing. It’s a better song than the previous one, but Bruce sounds so muddy and sunken. Can hardly make out what he’s singing in the choruses. And Steve doesn’t exactly cut through as usual for the most part. Shame.
Sad news, but recent outings do not compare to the early 80s. Might just be age as they have certainly put in the time
I have to agree, could not listen more than couple minutes… I wonder why this album was even released
In Mourning vocalist Tobias Netzel and former drummer Christian Netzel made album with Seeming Emptiness. In Mourning has been mentioned here few times, so there could also be interest to this! And those who are not familiar and like death/doom/progressive metal, In Mourning is worth checking out.
I need to give this couple listens more but after first one, not bad at all.
Thanks for the tip! Sounds awesome! But then, I am a huge In Mourning fan and this comes very close.
I’m glad you like it! Just started third time in a row, so have to confirm that album is really good!
