I have repeatedly added the ffmpeg codec file, (ffmpeg-git-amd64-static.tar.xz - md5); (and rebooted) yet still get the Missing Codec message. I installed ROCK (RoonOS 1.0 (build 258) production. Serial 1C697A07F020. ROCK is installed on an Intel NUC, model NUC7i3BNH. Please help.

I’m seeing the same problem in a new installation. I still have my old server running, so I copied the latest ffmpeg codec to that server, and now that server also shows the same error. Everything seems to be running fine, though, so it looks like some false notification getting thrown up, but it’s hard to tell if it’s related to the new ffmpeg file or the latest revision of roon server.
Hello - I made a little progress. I installed the ffmpeg file onto the Roon codecs folder by using a Windows 10 PC and with the 7-zip application. I had been using Linux Ubuntu Studio and the ARK program to decompress the file in my earlier attempts. The value “OK” now appears at the “Roon Software Server” section of the “System Status” page. Next question: Per the 7. Using ROCK chapter of the Install guide, I should see a “Choose Your Roon Server” webpage. How do you reach the “Choose Your Roon Server” webpage from the “System Status” page? Thanks for your help, Henry
