For all my love of Roon, there’s a can of worms in development right now. Abi Tucker calls it self sabotage.
I have given up trying to get to the finish line with release 1.8-952. The above problem was not solved, but pushed into another protocol corner.
The metadata servers are not performing and we are looking for the problems in our clients, which work much better with this little test without optimizers in release 1.8-943.
Turn off the optimizer until it shows performance and response! Then it goes blazing fast:
