I qualify for the $9.99 a month HiFi Plus student plan, so I decided to give Tidal another shot. With the new FLAC content although Roon doesn’t have all of the metadata yet it seems I’m noticing a much closer parity with Hires content compared to Qobuz which previously had way more.
Has anyone else noticed this. Combined with a better native app I think this updated Tidal experience may finally be a winner for me.
