I recently upgraded my music library to a SSD drive. Because by boot drive is not SSD, I wanted to move the Roon folder from the boot drive to the SSD drive. In the knowledge base it says this can’t be done: the Roon folder has to be in the Users Library folder (on a Mac). While this may be true by default, it is possible to create a symbolic link that permits one to move the Roon folder outside the user’s Library folder. I set this up this morning and everything works perfectly.

Just out of curiosity I also tried a regular alias and can confirm that this will not work. So a symbolic link is probably the best option.
