I noticed in my Roon backups that the folder name changed back in oct to have a . in front of it, but it doesn’t appear to have renamed the previous backup dir, so now i have both .{guid} and {guid} backup folders, the {guid} one doesn’t appear to be getting written to anymore, is it safe to delete? Was Roon supposed to rename the existing backup folder as part of the upgrade? Looking at the release notes dates, seems like this changed as part of 1.3 Build 269.
We did make a change around 269, but we are going to be making some further changes soon. My advice for now would be to leave the backups alone, as the update we’re working on should clean up some of this:
