I’m having an issue with music skipping/not playing and have tried to uninstall/reinstall the app. This is happening with both my local library and with Qobuz music. I am able to play Qobuz music through their desktop app.
We’re thankful that you’ve decided to let us know of the issue you ran into. We’re sorry that instead of enjoying music, you had to do this. I do hope we can work quickly towards a solution.
As a first troubleshooting step, let’s focus our attention on the Realtek driver - it may be causing some of the issue here. Could you please go to Device Manager on Windows and try to uninstall Realtek and reboot your Windows after? After a reboot, the default driver the Windows generic High Definition Audio) should be reinstalled.
Uninstalling and re-installing the driver worked. I have 4 channel stereo playback now. I have a 5.1 speaker system that does not seem to produce audio from all speakers at the same time, so when I was able to get the center channel and subwoofer working again playback in Roon stopped. Thank you for your help
When I was having the skipping/no audio issue the only message I recall seeing was that playback had stopped. I don’t have a screenshot of the error message.
