To confirm, you only see this issue when playing from Mac running both Roon and Roon Server? Does this happen when streaming from the system output of your Mac?
From a fresh diagnostic report, I can see your Wiim is doing a fair bit of downsampling when playing Qobuz content:
Thanks for giving that a try - did you review the network best practices for your specific router as well in the KB I’ve linked above?
With that, if you access the Qobuz web player and attempt playback via a browser, do you run into any issues?
If you haven’t yet, could you please logout of Qobuz within your Roon settings, reboot your Roon Server, and re-login. Let me know if you run into the same issues.
As a next step, please log out of Qobuz in your Roon settings, reboot your Roon Server, and log back in again. This will help refresh the authentication and eliminate any potential session issues with Qobuz.
After doing that, I’d like to enable diagnostics on your account so our technical team can take a closer look at what’s happening in the background.
Before I proceed, could you please reproduce the issue once more and note the exact time (including time zone) when it occurs? Once you share that timestamp here, I’ll make sure the diagnostic data we collect covers that event so we can review it accurately.
I log out and back in. skip happened halfway through first track. Santana Abrades , skipped to next song. at Noon PST, OCT 28. and I restarted the album again from the top and the same thing happened again first track. Skipped at 12:18PM PST track 2 to track 3. Not sure where to go to enable diagnostics
If you could, see about simplifying your setup and get a direct Ethernet connection from your WiiM to your router. Give everything a reboot as well, and let me know how things perform.
