Can you confirm you have that many files on your external HDD? It looks like the progress bar is moving, so if you have that many files it might be expected, but that would also be a huge database, and I don’t believe your iMac from 2013 would be able to handle such a library size.
The Dropbox link you provided appears not to be working, can you send it again or upload the files to our servers? I will PM you instructions for uploading directly to us. Has there been any change in the last few days with regard to importing?
